Garmin Introduces New Watches for All Ages

Since a hospitalisation drama way back in 2010, I try to take good care of my health, to the best of my ability.

Since then, I have been on a lookout for anything that could assist me in my everyday fitness regime - an application online or a wearable. And since I met Garmin, I swore my lifetime to its wearables.

Keeping track of health, fitness and wellness is not limited to a certain age group and should begin from young. Recently Garmin unveils three new wearables to assist everyone, young and old, to achieve a certain level of fitness. The three wearables are the vivosmart 3, vivofit jr. and Forerunner 935.

Featuring a sleek design and hidden display, vivosmart 3 tracks activity, including steps, sleep, stairs climbed and more. It also features smart notifications and Elevate wrist-based heart rate, which gives you access to fitness monitoring tools such as VO2 max, your fitness age and all-day stress tracking.

1. Fitness Age: Gives users an easy way to understand if they are making progress in their fitness. The lower your Fitness Age is compared to your real age, the better.
2. VO2 Max: New to Garmin wellness bands, this is widely recognised as an excellent measure of your aerobic fitness and should increase as your fitness improves.
3. All-Day Stress Level Monitoring: First Garmin wearable with all-day stress monitoring enabling users to see periods of elevated stress or restful recovery.

Garmin vivofit jr. was designed with kids and parents in mind, from its durable and comfortable band to its engaging app that motivates kids to get moving, while keeping parents involved.
