Eat Sushi Presents Signature Dish | Dare I say that Malaysia is a melting pot of all good food in the region - we have all the best signature food from all corners of the world here. Name any country and we have it all - albeit with some local taste modifications and ingredients.

So, last weekend, I went to Kota Damansara to attend a media event where Eat Sushi Malaysia presents its latest signature dish. Once in a while, I do love to eat Japanese cuisines, all its deliciousness in its simplest form and unique taste. 

Observing all the necessary SOPs, my friends and I then ushered to the restaurant, right in the middle of Sunway Giza. 

With restaurant signage as huge and unique as the above, you will not miss the restaurant. I love the layout of the restaurant - it has 3 sections. There's an open-air eating area, a revolving bar inside the restaurant and a huge event area upstairs where it can seat up to 60 pax at a time. So, if you are in the mood for a sushi party, you could just rent the area and be merry with all your friends here.

So, what's the signature sushi dishes that were presented to the crowd on that day? 

There were 6 of them and I was having the time of my life tasting them all. 

Mind you that I am not a big sushi fan as I do not like eating raw food. But I was over the moon when I saw that all the dishes were either cooked or grilled! Yay!

1. Unagi Rainbow Maki: cream cheese is introduced to the traditional unagi maki
2. Grill Salmon Rainbow Maki: a special sour sauce is introduced to the dish
3. Tempura Sushi Maki: a fried tempura maki
4. Avocado Rainbow Maki: dashes of avocado which makes the dish healthier
5. Grill Hotate Rainbow Maki: crabstick salad with scallop - YUMMY
6. Egg Rainbow Maki: wrapped with egg sheet and it tastes yummier! I love anything with egg!

It was supposed to be a brunch for me, but with all the servings looking delicious and very tempting, the brunch turned into lunch for me - with me having seconds (multiple times) hahaha

Normally, I will be the one that's ordering a bento set when my friends and I have meals in a Japanese restaurant. But not today. Hahaha. 

MY REVIEW OF EAT SUSHI MALAYSIA, SUNWAY GIZA, KOTA DAMANSARA

Space: Spacious

Service: Fast and with smiles. I don't have to keep on signalling the waiter to refill my tea. 

Price: Worth it. Very affordable 

Food portion: It's sushi y'all. It's the right size of sushi 

Taste: 5 Stars
