Have you ever had a dream that almost impossible to reach yet feels so close to you and keep on calling to you to achieve? I bet everyone has that one dream. When you think that it is impossible, then you should watch this movie.

SYNOPSIS

Based on a real life accomplishment of Philippe Petit, the story revolves around a man's determination in accomplishing his ultimate dream.
Philippe is a street-performer in Paris, making it through by juggling and wire-walking. When he reads about the Twin Towers of World Trade Centre, he imagines of making his name by wire-walking from one tower to the other.

Wanting to learn more of wire-walking, he begs the head of a circus, Papa Rudy to teach him all about the stunt. The dream becomes bigger each other and Philippe starts to plan his attempt to walk the tightrope between the buildings. And he needs accomplice to make his plan a success.
Later, he meets his first accomplice, Annie, another street perfomer. It wasn't long before they fall for each other and starts practising the wire-walking together. A few tries of wire-walking and compiling more accomplices, Philippe wants to scout the towers before making further plan.

After the scouting, Philippe sets his mind in conquering the towers on August 6, 1974.  There were obstacles everywhere throughout the period of the planning - trustworthy accomplice, setting the stage, emotional turmoil and health problem. But nothing seems to hinder Philippe's determination.

However, the real test happens during the day of the show itself.
Will Philippe succeed in walking the high dream or will the test bend his strength?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.95/ 5.0. The movie is very straight-forward. It was simple yet very captivating. The stunts look surreal and most of the time, I was left breathless (I have Acrophobia - fear of heights).
Penghayatan: 4.95/ 5.0. Joseph Gordon-Levitt played the part to the tee. Others too. Very believable and convincing.
