Everybody loves to look good without cleaning out his/ her bank account, especially me! Thus, this crazy obsession to look good teaches me to spend accordingly and to be very watchful for great items with very little budget (tags of Further Mark Down is very catchy to my eyes).

So, when I was offered to create a style within a budget of RM350, I was like "This is super easy.". When they mentioned about shopping at Freeport A'Famosa Outlet, I was flipping! That is the latest outlet mall to open in Melaka - with its first phase boasting of a 180,00 sq ft outlet with 100 retail units! Having recently opened its doors to the public, Freeport A'Famosa Outlet is located close to the Alor Gajah toll on the North-South Expressway and is located just in front of A'Famosa Resort.

After an hour and half hour drive from Kuala Lumpur by bus, we were taken to A'Famosa Resort for some 'get-to-know' session with other bloggers. There were 40 of us.
Before hitting the outlet, we were given some shopping and styling tips from fellow Fashionistas such as Ms Xandria Ooi. Ms Sue Lynn (Bangsar Babe), Ms Heidi Nazarudin (The Ambitionista) and Ms Nana (bwincessnana). The session was moderated by Ms Pam Siow, who is also looking da'bomb.
Here are the tips for shopping with a very limited budget: i) Only shop during sales - hunt for that Further Mark Down tag! ii) Invest on staple pieces that are versatile - you could reuse and rematch them with almost anything, throughout the year iii) There is never 'too much' in dressing up - only lack of confidence to pull up the whole look

After the session, we were taken on a tour at the outlet which was VERY PACKED with people shopping (Christmas is just around the corner - present hunting season).  There were lines of people in front of the stores, waiting to be allowed into the stores.  Since the outlet is just recently opened, there are still some shop lots that are not open and under construction. But that did not hinder people to flock here in the outlet.

The 40 fashion bloggers

We were divided into Group A and Group B. Group A were to find their most Stylish Fashion whereas Group B were to suit up in their Casual Wear within two hours.  I was in Group B which I thought this was an easy task. 
Then I realized "Two hours is never enough to shop and to look good. I need more time.".
After rushing from stores to stores, this is the best of my Casual Look.

Hey.  I managed to do all this in two hours time. And it was not as easy as I first thought when you have choices - much too many choices. Just like what Jaishana mentioned in her blog - visualize your look and work towards it - will make your shopping spree very much easier.
And guess what? I think I will be haunting the joints again for more deals!
