USS Enterprise has just docked on Yorktown after three long years journey in the outer space when their assistance was needed by Kalara, a survival that has just arrived in Yorktown in a escape pod. Acknowledging that USS Enterprise's strength and capable crew, the ship traveled to a new and uncharted side of the nebula to assist the rest of Kalara's crews.

However, they were attacked by Krall's drone armies who managed to board the ship and seize an ancient alien weapon. However, Captain Kirk managed to get hold of the weapon and hide it with one of the crew.

The Enterprise suffered severe damage and  Lieutenant Nyota Uhara separated the saucer's section of the Enterprise which allowed it to crash-landed on the planet below. Krall managed to captured her, Liuetenant Hikaru Sulu and a few other crews that has been captured by the drones while escaping via the escape pods. The weapon was finally in Krall's hands after a few series of threats of killing the rest of the crews. The weapon was a component of bioweapon that will be used by Krall to annihilate Yorktown.

Kalara admitted that she lured the Enterprise to the planet in order to get the weapon. Klaara was killed during the fight with Captain Kirk. Scotty was saved by Jaylah, a native who made long-lost USS Franklin as her home. Together, they tried to repair the damage on board and start to teleport the crews.

I paid the maintenance fees on time and this is what happen to my plumbing? (only people who stays in apartment knows this)

Who is Krall? Will the crew be successful in saving Yorktown of the imminent attack from Krall?

Plot: 4.8/5.0. I love the unexpected twists and new characters in the latest installment. There are so much action scenes that made you stay alert in your seats too.
The Act: 4.8/ 5.0. The acts was superb especially Sofia Boutella as Jaylah (bias much?). I would say that this installment is more towards exploring the emotions of the crews and the development of their character.
Will I watch it again: Yes I would!
