Jason Bourne [Movie Review]

Jason Bourne (2016) is the fifth installment of the Bourne film.

Watching all the trailers made me excited to watch the movie, to know what is going to happen to his conscience.

Jason has been off the radar for quite some time after he regained his memories, living each day and earning his daily bread by taking part as a boxer in illegal fighting rings.

Meanwhile, Nicky Parsons, managed to hack into the CIA's mainframe server in search of more illegal projects run by CIA to expose to the public. She found out some documents about Jason and his father's involvement in Treadstone and intended to share the info with Jason.
Nicky's effort in contacting Jason brought her to Greece where they met but the meeting was cut short due to a violent anti-government protest and the fact that the both of them were being hunted by The Asset, an assassin engaged by CIA Director, Robert Dewey, to 'settle' his problems. Nicky was killed by The Asset but he failed in capturing Jason. Before she was killed, she has managed to pass the encrypted data to Jason. 

I do not understand how they can agree to the theme 'Purge' for Halloween!

Heather Lee, head of CIA's cyber ops, has planted a malware in the data copied by Nicky and was able to track down Jason when he viewed the document. Before he could finish reading the document, Heather remotely erased the document. She contacted Jason and persuaded Jason to allow her to help him in his search. Jason turned down the offer and ran from the scene when he received a text message from Heather alerting him of the approaching team that was sent by Dir. Dewey to capture him.

What? They shut down Yahoo Messanger? All my potential husbands' data are in the contact list!

Heather was allowed to personally persuade Jason to turn himself in but Dir. Dewey has another plan for him ie to kill him. Dir. Dewey sent The Asset to work alongside Heather and without her knowing, The Asset is set to track down and kill Jason on sight, by the direction of Dir. Dewey.

I need to shoot all those bottles now - I want to win that pink unicorn!

Aaron Kalloor, the CEO of social media enterprise Deep Dream, a company that was secretly funded by Dir. Dewey, intended to reveal all Dir. Dewey's plan to use the real-time mass surveillance programme developed by Deep Dream for another black op titled 'Ironhand'.
Will Jason survive the ordeal? Will he collaborate with Heather to topple Dewey?

Plot: 4.7/ 5.0. The plot was simple - you cannot trust anyone in the spy line of work. Expect some mind-boggling twists here and there.
The Act: 4.8/ 5.0. A great act combination of Matt Damon, Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander and Vincent Cassel. A great action, thriller movie.
Will I watch it again: I don't mind watching it again, with the right companion.
