Underworld: Blood Wars [Movie Review]

By now, I think all of you know that I love to watch horror, superpowers and animations movies.

Thanks to Budiey and Klips, I was invited to watch the latest instalment of Selene's adventure in the Underworld: Blood Wars. 

When will this war end?

Selene is fighting the battle for her life alone, with both sides of the Lycan and the Vampires are always on her behind. Both sides want her and her daughter's blood to become Vampire- Corvinus hybrids which will enhance their fighting abilities. 

All these huge firearms, you chose that small one? It is small, but it bites deep and deadly

The Lycan clan is being led by Marius, the thinker of the clan that has managed to wipe almost all of the Vampires' safe houses and its people. Fear that the new recruits of the Vampire faction will not be able to withstand the forthcoming battle between the two sides, Semira and Thomas manage to persuade the Council members to pardon Selene's past betrayal and welcome her to the coven to assist in preparing the new recruits for the upcoming war with the Lycan.

That awkward moment when everyone hears you fart and you were trying to impress the future in-laws!

When Selene is back in the Eastern Coven, Varga (Semira's toyboy) managed to cut Selene with a poisoned knife which numbs her body. Apparently, Semira is after Selene's blood to enhance her power as she wants to overthrow the current council and take control of the whole faction. While releasing Selene from Semira's captivity, Thomas was killed during the fight with Semira. 

I don't think they read the card correctly. It clearly says 'All black party'

Together with David, Selena made her way to the peaceful faction of the Vampire, the Nordic coven at the northern region where David learnt about his bloodline. Via Alexia, a Vampire that is in love with Marius, the Lycan clan followed Selena and David to the coven. Arriving at the coven, the Lycans started killing any vampire in sight with David, Selene and Lena trying their very best to defend the coven.

My balls are not this big and they are certainly not metals!

While clashing with Marius, Selene was heavily injured as Marius is not an ordinary werewolf. Submitting to defeat, Selene let herself go under the icy lake and was saved by Lena. Lena tends to her wounds and leads her to the Holy Land.

I ask him for dragon tattoo, not making me a dragon!

With this, I wed thee.

Meanwhile David went back to the Eastern Coven to reclaim his birthright. Semira was captured and sentenced to captivity for treason.
Then the Lycans hit the Eastern Coven, the safest place on earth for the Vampire faction.
Who will save the coven and the faction?

Plot: 3.8/ 5.0. After a few minutes into the movie, I think I was able to predict the plot of the movie. And in the middle of it, I remembered saying to my friend 'What happen to the script? It was kind of crappy.'. And the actions are not as intense as I thought it should be/ it was before. Or was it because I put too high an expectation? 
The Cast: 4.5/ 5.0. If it was not because of the well-known cast, I think the movie would have become a total flop. 
Will I watch it again: Once is enough as nothing new here.
