King Arthur - Legend of the Sword

The trailer of 'King Arthur' really got me excited - with all the action and also some mythical creatures potrayed in it! So yeah, there is no way that I will not watch it.

King Uther was dethroned by his own brother, Vortigern. With the help of the sea witches after sacrificing his wife, Vortigern called upon a demon knight to kill the king and his wife. The heir to King Uther was saved and drifted away to Londinium, where he was found and raised by prostitutes that named him Arthur.

Growing up, Arthur became the man of the streets and a skilled fighter, alongside his friend Tristan and Blacklack. Everything was great until he mistakenly messed up with the Vikings which was under the protection of King Vortigern.
Arthur tried to escape but instead was captured and put into a ship with hundreds of other men. He was made to pull out a mysterious magic sword that appeared near the castle. When he tried to pull it, he fainted and put into prison.

Did they lost the sheath that they have to put the sword in the rock?

And David Beckham is in the movie too. Go figures!

King Vortigern learned about the incident and realized that Arthur was the heir that he was looking for. King Vortigern sentenced Arthur to be executed publicly where a mage rescued him with the help of his friends and Sir Bedivere.
In their hiding, Arthur learned about his lineage. Together, they staged a few ambushes in order to bring King Vortigern out of his hiding.

This lighting is certainly great for photography

Plot: 4.8/ 5.0. The movie tells a back story of how King Arthur came to be and it was very a great plot. Guy Ritchie certainly managed to spin the movie beautifully and I think there might be a sequel coming up.

Cast: 4.8/ 5.0. The right cast for every character. That is all I have to say. Jude Law as King Vortigern is evilly right!

Will I watch it again: I will certainly buy the DVD and have it in my collection.
