Ole-Ole Raya RTM and The Launch of Ria Aidilfitri Album

Befitting its meaning, Ole-Ole Raya RTM 2017 gives gifts to the underprivileged children from SK Shah Alam and SK Seksyen 19, Shah Alam.

Ole-Ole literally translates as present.

The program has been running on air since 2017 and this year, RTM collaborated with a few NGOs, the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-Operatives and  Consumerism (KPDNKK) to bring joy to some 40 students before Syawal comes. The program runs for 3 day (15, 16 & 19 June 2017) and will be aired before Raya (24 June @ 9 am @ TV1).

I was invited to this year's celebration which was held at PICC's renowned restaurant, Pot & Pan where Noraniza Idris Production Ventures Sdn Bhd (NIPVSB) launched its raya album, called Album Ria Aidilfitri featuring the traditional pop song diva herself, Noraniza Idris with a few other artistes. [To name a few - Mimi Fly ONE, Fee Haiqal, Razis Ismail]

The launch party was co-sponsored by Co-X and HSB Wan Trading. HSB Wan Trading's CEO, Mr Wan Mohd Harizmi, announced that should the company is moving forward tremendously, HSB Wan Trading might elect Noraniza Idris as it's first spokesperson, as he was happy with the current collaboration with the artist.

 After the artistes delivered a few songs from the album, the most awaited moment, especially for the kids arrived. With a big smile on each face, they were given 'duit raya' and goodie bags to celebrate the upcoming Syawal.

Deep in discussion

Apart from the 'berbuka puasa', a lot of programmes was planned for the group

• A visit to The Farm in the City
• A visit to Gardenia Malaysia factory in Shah Alam
• A visit to HSB Wan Trading, a company that helps the needy to earn extra income
• Baju raya shopping at d'Khair Collection & AURA by Noraniza Idris
• Visits to Rumah Jagaan Nur Hasanah (Beranang) and Rumah Jagaan Mahmudah (Semenyih)
• Buka puasa event @ Rumah Jagaan Hasanah and YB Datuk Haji Johan Abd Aziz (ADUN Semenyih) will be distributing Raya gifts to the underprivileged.
