A Great Stay @ M Motel at Meru, Ipoh

During the Fun Drive to Ipoh 2017 with Selangor Tourism Association (STA) and Perak Toirism last weekend, the bunch stayed at M Motel at Meru. It was a relatively new boutique hotel located in the most strategic location, I would say.

For someone who always lost my way, even with the help of Waze or Google Maps, I was so relieved to know that I can google my way to Jabatan Audit Negeri Perak, Ipoh and M Motel at Meru is just opposite of the front entrance of the office. Ain't that convenient?
The best of all, it is so near to all other attractions that Ipoh has to offer. It is only 4.5 km to Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS) and 15 km to the Lost World of Tambun (LWOT). Terminal Aman Jaya and Mydin Mall Meru Jaya are within walking distance to it so that adds up the desirability for a staycation at M Motel at Meru! 
Even though only rates as a 3 Star Hotel, I am super loving M Motel at Meru. What's not to love? It is clean, the amenities are complete, everything is so near to the hotel and the best of all, every single wall in M Motel at Meru is so instaworthy! Hahaha. That is so vain of me!

I love the white-brick walls that M Motel at Meru has - it is so instaworthy. With the right lighting, your pictures will turn up as good as it was taken in a professional studio!
Then you enter the room. The decorations on the wall are kept to a minimal, just the way I like them. Too many decorations read as trying too hard and at times make the room stuffy too. The room that I shared with Mahamahu has two Super Single beds, a bathroom with standing shower and a mini-fridge. The best thing is, an iron and an iron board are readily waiting for its user in the room. Who could live without an iron right? With all that, it is enough for a staycation.

And don't worry about not being connected to the world. It is not like you are way deep in the jungle right? There's a flatscreen TV in the room and M Motel at Meru also has Wi-Fi for all to use. Tweet away about your experience and tag M Motel at Meru in your instagram too.

For those who can't sleep with less than 3 pillows, we are on the same team. I asked the receptionist for additional pillows and he gave me 2 extra pillows! Yeay! Thanks for the ever helpful receptionist of M Motel at Meru - no wonder it won the top hotel to stay in Ipoh by TripAdvisor!
