Justice League [Movie Review]

I assumed by the time my review is out, I will not be giving out any spoiler as everybody must have watched the most awaited movie of the year.

I am a superhero movie fan so when Ruby invited me to GSC Media Night cum Justice League Preview - I jumped at the invite. And then she mentioned for us to dress up as the characters, my creativity juice started to flow. And I chose to be The Joker from Suicide Squad! And the best thing was - we both won Best Dressed! Ruby came as a Supermom. Yeay!

SYNOPSIS With the death of Superman (throwback Batman V Superman), Batman and Wonderwoman teams up to find more metahumans to form a team to ready for the battle against a new enemy. This new threat, Steppenwolf, a force that aims to conquer planets in the name of Darkseid's has tried to invade Earth thousands of years before. Stteppenwolf's first act of Earth invasion was stopped by the allegiance of many forces - Olympian Gods, Amazons, Atlanteans, ancient human and Green Lanterns to fight off the army of parademons. By the end of the attack and the defeat of Steppenwolf, the forces divided the 'Mother Boxes' into three and hid them separately - one in Themyscira, another in Atlantis and one on land at a place unknown to anyone.

However, the death of Superman seems to awaken Steppenwolf and his army of parademons again. Steppenwolf starts to look for 'Mother Boxes' as when the three 'Mother Boxes' combine, he can remake the world into his own.

In their quest, Batman and Wonderwoman manage to recruit new metahumans - a young, awkward and a self-proclaim food blackhole hero (The Flash), a man that talks to fish (Aquaman) and a recently died-but-revived-with-Kryptonian-technology athlete (Cyborg). With this new and young heroes, the league tried their very best to ward off Steppenwolf's invasion. When everything else seems to fail and Steppenwolf manage to get 2 out of the 3 'Mother Boxes', Batman uses Cyborg's knowledge of the Earth's 'Mother Box' to revive Superman. The effort succeeded but they revived a more angry, confused and empty-soul Superman who bulldozes everybody, including the League. Lois Lane comes to the rescue and tries to make him remember who he was and who he is.

Will the League be able to contain the third 'Mother Box' and keep it from Steppenwolf's reach? Who will save the Earth? p/s: There are two end-credit scenes and it will be worth the wait!
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.0/5.0. There is no surprise here. The plot is simple - a bit slow to my liking. Perhaps because Zack wants to show the new superheroes characters' development that it almost ate up the movie. But interesting still.  The Act: 4.7/ 5.0. No complaint here. Everybody does their part justice albeit some are in the limelight more than others. I think that's why they will their movies soon.  Will I watch it again: I don't mind watching it again, with the right companions. Rawlins GLAM
