Thor: Ragnarok [Movie Review]

It has been quite some time since I last reviewed a movie - doesn't mean that I didn't go and watch them.

So here is the latest the movie that I've watched - in D - Box some more. You know that I am a sucker for superhero movie so of course, I have to watch Thor: Ragnarok.

SYNOPSIS The movie started with Thor being chained and imprisoned by the fire demon Surtur. Surtur reveals that Asgard will be destroyed in a prophesied Ragnarok, once Surtur manages to unite his crown with the Eternal Flame that is buried underneath the city of Asgard. Before long, Thor manages to defeat Surtur and takes his crown, believing he has prevented Ragnarok.

You ask me to use this as a beauty blender?

Baby, this will not work as an eyeliner - I will be blinded by it!

It took an army to make me look this good

When he returns to Asgard, Loki was posing as Odin. With the help of Dr Strange, they managed to find Odin who is dying. With him dead, his firstborn, Hela will be able to escape from a prison where he kept her captured for so long. Hela hails her power from Asgard and will be very powerful if she enters Asgard. Soon after Odin dies, Hela appears and Thor and Loki combine their powers to defeat Hela. However, Hela was very powerful that she manages to destroy Mjolnir. Running away from the scene, Loki and Thor were thrown out of the space to die by Hela while transporting through Bifrost Bridge. Arriving in Asgard, Hela destroys the army that opposes her and resurrects her beloved Fenris Wolf and the ancient dead army who once fought with her.

Thor crashlands on a garbage planet called Sakaar and captured by Scrapper 142. She sells him to the Grandmaster as a gladiator to fight in Contest of Champions. It turns out that the most powerful fighter of Grandmaster's is Hulk. Thor was almost winning if not for the Grandmaster's meddling which causes Thor's lose. 

I asked for a California King Bed - but they give us a super single bed instead. Very bad service this resort has.

Again Hulk, please adhere to the dress code. It is a disgrace every single time you arrive wearing almost nothing.

In Hulk's room, Thor tries to convince Hulk and Scrapper to assist him in leaving Sakaar and saving Asgard. While trying to fly the Quinjet, Thor accidentally plays a recording of Blackwidow that somehow transforms the Hulk into Banner.
When Thor realizes that Scrapper 142 was actually a Valkyrie, he shares the story of strength and bravery of Valkryie while defending Asgard which eventually wavers her stands and she agrees to assist Thor. Thor leaves Loki behind while escaping Sakaar as Loki was trying to betray him again. 

Hela, how do you like my eyes make up? Shocking right?

Will Thor and the band be able to stop Hela? Will Thor be able to save and revive Asgard? *Remember to stay for the two post-credit scenes.  MY REVIEW Plot: 4.9/ 5.0. I found that this instalment is much more relax and entertaining without neglecting the action scenes and a good plot. 
Cast: 4.9/ 5.0. I have no complaint what-so-ever about the cast. Thumbs up! A great act and commitment from the cast! 
Will I watch it again: A big YES! And totally worth watching it on D Box.  Rawlins GLAM
