The Greatest Showman [Movie Review]

Is there a greater way to spend celebrate New Year but to spend it with your friends and watch a great movie? That exactly what I did and boy, did we made a great movie selection!

The show is on!

Yes, I went and watched The Greatest Showman!
SYNOPSIS The movie started with young and poor Barnum falling for rich and posh Charity Hallet, only to be reminded by her father about their social status. But that did not stop their love story as they keep on keeping in touch by writing letters to each other.

When they were old enough, they decided to get married and soon blessed with two beautiful girls. When he was let off from work, Charity was still contented with their lives but Barnum wants more for his family. 
Putting a fleet of ships from his former employer as a collateral, Barnum took a huge loan from the bank and bought an old museum. The ticket sales were slow and then her daughters suggested for him to put something alive in the museum to attract more people into their museum. This puts an idea into his head and he went on a journey of finding people with various physical abnormalities or extraordinary abilities to be a part of his new show.

After successfully gathering a group of extraordinary people, he put up a show which later became very popular despite being protested by the locals who despise the sight of the 'freaks'. 

Later Barnum met playwright Philip Carlyle whom he convinced to become a part of his business dealings. Once he managed to rope in Philip, more door opened for them. During his encounter with Queen Victoria, he met Jenny Lind, a famed European opera singer, who he convinces to perform in America, with Barnum as her marketer and manager. Upon the success of her first concert, Barnum decided to arrange for Jenny to tour America.

Philip started to take a liking for Wheelers but still trying to hide the relationship due to his parents' lack of approval. And Barnum started to neglect the show and his family while touring with Jenny.
What will happen to the show? Will Barnum be able to save his family? Is this everything that he wishes for his family?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.95/ 5.0. There is not a single scene that bores me. Every single scene was beautiful and it keeps me on my feet! My friends and I even danced during the songs. The songs are very catchy and you will love the moves too!
Cast: 5.0/ 5.0. The casting director did such magnificent job in selecting the actors. everybody was equally great and convincing - up to the extras were doing great jobs too!
