JBL Announces Rising Star Winners & Launches Concert Run

A mere try-out for the call-out of JBL Rising Star has bear fruit for one lucky chap, Clinton Chua Han Yong. He belted out 'How Will I Know' by Whitney Houston which captivated the attention of the panel judges of Hanz Guo Wen Han (a singer, songwriter and music producer), Jenn Chia (a youtuber, singer and songwriter) and Hael Husaini (a reputable singer). Apart from snatching the champion title of JBL Rising Star, he also grabbed the Best Performance Award for his melodious and very outstanding performance. His win automatically entitled him to be elected as the ambassador for JBL Rising Star.

The search for JBL Rising Star started in March 2018 and the finale was held at vanity Atrium, Sunway Velocity Mall on 23rd June 2018. 
Ms Charlotte Ardelle Felix came in second and Ms Nurul Ashikin Rosnan grabbed the third placing. Ms Vanessa Van Huizen scored 'The Most Popular Online Award'. Each winner brought home cash and JBL products.

Truth be told, it must have been a hard task for the judges to choose the winner as the 10 finalists were very talented. And as the cherry on top of it all, the crowd was also serenaded by the judges - each one performed their song with finesse, much to the crowd's amusement.

JBL Concert Run After the announcement, JBL announces that JBL Concert Run will take place at Surf Beach, Sunway Lagoon on 15th September 2018.  It is a 5KM fun run where runners have to go through five different thematic zones - Rock Stage, Pop Warrior Obstacle, Safari Music Zone, Techno Tunnel and Jazz Lazy River. 

Going through each zone, there will be live concert to enjoy and exciting various challenges to overcome. Prominent local singers like Hael Husaini and Joe Flizzow will be performing at the concert that will begin at 9pm. They will also be joined by a well-known Hong Kong celebrity, Hubert Wu. Besides great performances, the participants will also get to take part in lucky draws to walk away with prizes worth RM150,000. According to Hot Gadgets spokesperson, it will be a night to remember. 
Another good news is that the buy 2-in-1 package has been extended until 30th June 2018. There will be individual and family packages offered too. Each participant will receive door gift from Hot Gadgets, including running shirt, medals and JBL C100SI In-Ear Headphones (worth RM69,90 for adult) and JBL JR300 Kids On-Ear Headphones worth RM121 (for children), respectively.
