Overlord [Movie Review]

I got all excited after watching the trailer of Overlord [Youtube].

And I decided there and then that it was going to be a Zombie Apocalypse movie - which I  love.
When United International Pictures Malaysia posted about a contest to win the invites, I immediately joined and yeay! I got to watch the premiere on 31 Oct. 2018 at TGV One Utama. 
SYNOPSIS The movie was set during World War II. The American paratroopers are caught behind the enemy lines when their plane crashes. Their mission is simple - destroy a German Radio Tower. Finding their ways through the bloody bodies of their comrades, the troop accidentally met Chloe, a local who then forcefully have to lead them into the village safely. 

Is this the botox injection that I need? I have to think twice - that needle is huge!

This pinata looks weird. 

Lead by Corporal Ford, the troop has to find a way to infiltrate the tower. While trying to find his way into the tower, Private Boyce discovers something else happening inside the tower - a menacing and evil truth that will ruin the world if left alone. 

Private Boyce is one kind-hearted person that gets picked on by his comrade, Private Tibbet for being too cowardly. But after learning the truth about what the Nazis are doing to the town and its people, Boyce steps up his courage and bulldozes his way to save the people.

Erm. I told you to look skin deep, but not literally like this. You are overdoing it.

Will the troop succeed in their mission?
Will Boyce be able to save the village and its people?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.5/ 5.0. I was so looking forward to the zombie apocalypse. Then I realised that I wasn't a zombie movie. It was scientific experiment went wrong. And I was pleasantly surprised by that fact. The actions, the curves and the surprises keep me on my toes throughout the movie. There were screams too! believe me, you will be too! So, be prepared for the gore and the blood. Owh. It might not be suitable for small children too.    Cast: 4.5/5.0. Corporal Ford looks so familiar. Then I realised that he looks like Kurt Russell - he should be as he is Kurt's son! I love Chloe so much. She is one kick-a$$ b%tch that you don't want to mess with. Boyce? I got irritated with his 'too strong moral compass' but then, that means he is delivering his character so well!
Will I watch it again: I will, not at the cinema but at home.
