Instant Family [Movie Review]

The trailer of Instant Family has got me laughing out loud, thus I just could not NOT watching it when it was released.

And plus, I need to laugh the stress off.

Pete and Ellie Wagner feel there is a void in their marriage. When Pete jokes about adopting, Ellie becomes interested in the idea and further goes online to check on a nearby foster care centre. After consulting with Karen and Sharon, the social workers at the centre, the couple was invited to a foster fair. 

They become intrigued and interested to adopt a teen, Lizzie and tells Karen and Sharon their interest. The social workers inform them that Lizzie's mom is a drug addict and currently serving time, and she has two younger siblings. If they agree to take Lizzie, it is kinda package - Lizzie comes with her siblings, Lita and Juan. 

The live-in starts pleasantly. The kids listen to Pete and Ellie and the grown-ups love the kids. But it doesn't take long for things to go haywire. As first time parents with an instant 3 kids, nothing seems to work in their favours. The support group that they have been attending does help them, albeit a bit. 

When Lizzie told the Wagners that their mom is coming out of prison and wants to see her kids, the couple starts to feel the sadness. 
Will the real mother breaks the family?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.9/ 5.0 I cried. Yes. The storyline was simple but it was very heart-tugging and near to my heart - coz I am missing my family. And this is based on a real event - the Anders' experience.
Cast: 4.9/ 5.0 The cast fits nicely to their individual character. Mark and Rose did amazingly superb as the first time parents. The kids are magnificently 'annoying' too.
Will  I watch it again: I don't mind watching it again. Oh. Be sure to bring tissues ok.
