Captain Marvel [Movie Review]

Without a doubt, Captain Marvel is the most awaited Marvel characters, after Thanos decimated the world's population into half in the Avengers: Infinity War (so far) as we were left behind looking at Fury's pager that was calling for assistance from Captain Marvel.

So, thanks for the invitation for the premiere of Captain Marvel, I get to be among the first to view Captain Marvel in action.

Vers is a noble Kree warrior, who has no recollection of her life history except for the past six years. She has powers but was not allowed to use it freely. Lately, she keeps on having flashes and dreams of someone else's life story and a woman figure keeps on appearing in all those images.

Oh my. They use this ancient transportation here. And why am I not flying now?

During a rescue mission on Planet Torja, she was captured by Talos, the leader of the shape-shifting Skrull, where her mind was probed to obtain a secret in her memory. Vers managed to escape the Skrull's ship and stranded on Planet C-53 (also known as Earth by us human). According to her intel, she believed that Planet C-53 has been infiltrated by Skrull and they are looking for Dr Lawson to get to her secret. Vers was instructed by Yon-Rogg, her commander on Starforce to prevent the Skrull from getting the secret.
She met with Nick Fury and Phil Coulson upon her 'arrival' but their meeting was cut short by the sudden attack of Skrull. Running after the Skrull who tried to kill her but she lost the shape-shifter at a busy train station after a very heated and full of fighting action on the train. Meanwhile, Fury realised that 'Coulson' that was riding with him in the car during their pursuit of Vers was a shape-shifter and managed to kill the alien.

Fury managed to catch up with Vers at a bar. Together, they tried to look for Dr Lawson. When Fury called up his back up, he realised that his boss is also a Skrull. He then made his mind to assist Vers in fulfilling her mission and look for Dr Lawson's secret when they both realised that Dr Lawson was killed in aircraft's crash six years ago. The incident was covered up and there Vers realised that she was Carol Danvers, the pilot that was believed to have flown the craft together with Dr Lawson and declared died during the crash. 
Bit by bit, Vers connected her dreams and she realised that she was a weapon that has been brainwashed to fight for the wrong company.

How I feel after a 1-hour head to foot massage session, everytime

What will Vers do when she realised that her 6-years of life was a lie?  Will she choose Skrull or Kree to fight for?
MY REVIEW Plot: 4.8/ 5.0 Some of my friends and some online reviews gave quite low marks for this one. But I love it as this is an introductory film of Captain Marvel to the whole series. I take this film as a character building for Captain Marvel thus I kinda like it as I understand where she was from. Perhaps we set our expectations too high and comparing her to the other Marvel characters who have had their films all these years to build up their rapport. This is her introduction scenes, so to me it is great!
Cast: 4.9/ 5.0 No comment whatsoever for all the characters!
Will I watch it again: Yes, I don't mind watching it again, may it be in the cinema or at home. The pictures are taken from IMDb and other sources on the Internet. Thank you.
