I remembered hearing the harmonious and powerful duet from these two young'uns belting out 'Aku Cinta' during Anugerah Juara Lagu 32, back in February last year. That powerful rendition landed them the Anugerah Vokal Terbaik (Award for Best Vocal) despite it was their very first appearance in the Anugerah Juara Lagu.

With their increasing number of fans and popularity, it was no surprise that Rocketfuel Entertainment and Nafis Global Resources Sdn Bhd decided to pair up the two songbirds for the upcoming Secretaries' Week on 24 April 2019 in Marriot Putrajaya Hotel. 

With the theme of 'Classic & Elegant', the event is aptly named 'An Afternoon of Elegance with Syamel and Ernie Zakri - When Heart Need A Beat' will be featuring the duo singing 12 hit songs consisting of solo numbers, duets and also cover popular songs for 3 hours of the event.

With tickets awaiting for sale at RM3,500, RM5,000, RM7,000 and RM10,000 per table (10 pax per table), a part of the ticket sales will be donated to Yayasan Afdlin Shauki to assist the Tabung Misi Bantuan Kemanusiaan Syria.

The duo will be serenading the guests live with a special touch of the country's experienced musicians under the leadership of Baji. While Era radio presenter, Haniff Hamzah has been appointed as the emcee of the afternoon.

    ohh I actually just knew these duo from my husband, which happened to really like their songs and vocals. Upon listening to them earlier, I do think Syamel does have a great vocal! anyway, it’s great that they make part of the ticket sales to be donated to the Syria assist foundation!

    Awesome duet! They have their own power to amazed their fans with the great and awesome voice. If before this for Secretaries' Week, as we know Ctdk and Anuar Zain area very popular as icon to perform but this time gtia to birds chosen.
