Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant Invites You For an Authentic Thai Wok & BBQ Session

In any culture from any part of the world, BBQ is the best eating session that people love to eat. In my family, BBQ is always the best part of our weekend as we will be welcoming family and friends for a catch-up session and for me, it was the time when my aunties and uncles will be giving me some 'angpow' hahaha.

Last weekend, I was invited to a Thai Wok and BBQ buffet at Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant in Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort City. It was an invitation that I could never resist as the place is very near to my place and I love eating Thai food!
The buffet spread was marvellous! There were live stations for the grill of various meats, seafood and other fresh items.  Of course, there is a live station for Som Tam salad too, made a la minute for you. 
The buffet certainly brought together the best of both worlds to the table where fresh items from the market are cooked live in front of the patrons either by frying in the wok or grilling on the charcoal fire. That's really fresh, right?

So, what's my go-to food here at the session? I went straight for the juicy Beef Tenderloin Slice, the grilled Tiger Prawn and the grilled squid, dipped in the homemade sauce, which brings the combination taste of Thai and Chinese influences in them.
My friends were burying their faces in all other juicy seafood - seabass & snapper fillet, blue crab, clams and lala, to name a few. One food that all of us were having to our heart/ stomach's content - the grilled fresh corn! It brings back the memory of my hometown!

There were also Chicken Skewer, Chicken Otak-Otak, Fish, Prawn and the best of yet was Enche Kabin Chicken (pandan leaf wrapped chicken). Oh my. That chicken was so fragrant and yummy!

To end it all, I had the Thai ABC and Thai Jelly. One can never have too many desserts right?

Apart from the weekend BBQ session, the restaurant offers Thai Set Lunch daily starting from RM10 nett per set (the set includes Rice, main dish, 2 side dishes, soup of the day and Lemongrass tea).
