Seafood Buffet Galore @ Sunway Putra Hotel

I am not a hardcore seafood lover but when I do indulge, I only go to the best and the freshest there is. 

It happens that a group of us wanted to do a small gathering and the best place to meet up with friends that comes from all over Malaysia would be at Sunway Putra Hotel, situated along the Diamond Triangle - it is within reach to the heart of Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur where the main shopping district, dining and entertainment precincts and financial centres are located.
We chose to have our dinner gathering at the Coffee House of Sunway Putra Hotel, located at Level 9 of the hotel. And we were lucky to have chosen here because there's a children playground next to the restaurant where we let the children enjoy themselves after the kids had their dinner. There were movies, colouring activities and toys available there, for free, while the grown-ups enjoying their meals at the Coffee House comfortably.

Walking around the dining area, I was happy to see that there was a good array of food and fresh seafood on the counters. There was an action counter where you could pick your seafood and vegetables and let the chef grill the food to perfection there. There, I see my friends grabbing the fresh seafood (prawns, mussels and crabs) and handing them over, watching in awe as the chef prepared the grilled seafood for them.
Not feeling like having teppanyaki-style seafood, I walked towards the dome food where to my surprise, underneath the dome were Asian Creamy Seafood Pasta, Spicy Seafood Marinara Spaghetti, Oven Baked Curry Crab Flower, Stir-Fried Squids with Capsicum, Stir-Fried Mussels in Cashew Nuts & Dried Chillies and Sautéed Prawns with Garlic Oyster. I took one of each and later, came back for my seconds - the prawns were tasty, sweet and fresh!

Then, I was so happy to see that there is also a steamer section that served assorted dim sum and yong tau foo (dim sum is my happy food). The kids were all over the dim sum, so we were like swarming over the section, back for seconds and more.

Oh. Don't forget to try the Sushi Nasi Lemak here too. It is da'bomb!
After the hearty meal, everyone was eager to have their desserts and a cuppa of hot drinks.  As I am a dessert-freak, I was happy to see a there were vast choices of desserts available - cakes, pizza, fresh fruit, mousses and puddings.  

Calling it off later, all were happy that we chose to have the mini-reunion at the Coffee House, Sunway Putra Mall.
The seafood was great, the price is very affordable, the food choice is aplenty and the best thing is, you can bring your family members too, from the youngest until the oldest and you get to enjoy the food comfortably.
