Heuk Hwa Dang - The Korea's No. 1 Premium Tea is in SS15 Subang | The latest craze all over Malaysia is the boba tea.
If you haven't try one, well, where have you been?
As one of the #BobaHunters (a group for boba lovers - there's only 4 of us hahaha), we love to boba hunt. And now, we have another outlet that I will have to bring them over because I am in love with its menu.
Heuk Hwa Dang é»‘èŠ±å ‚, the popular Korea Premium Tea & Dessert House in Hongdae has finally arrived on our shore, to be exact in SS15, Subang Jaya. The coffee house was first established in 2018 and now has 80 branches in South Korea - so you could imagine the fan base it has over in South Korea.
Heuk Hwa Dang é»‘èŠ±å ‚ opened its door to the public last 24 September 2019 and currently operates from 10 am up to 12 am (weekday) and up until 1 am on the weekend.
Address: 57, Jalan SS 15/8a, Ss 15, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor
Hailing all the way from South Korea as a premium dessert franchise, the brand still adheres to the pure flavour that belongs uniquely to Heuk Hwa Dang é»‘èŠ±å ‚. Thus, almost 90% of the raw materials in the store are from South Korea to ensure the authenticity of the flavour and stay loyal to its brand.
As Malaysia is the largest K-fan of anything Korean (music, drama and everything), Mr Timothy Chee, the representative of Heuk Hwa Dang é»‘èŠ±å ‚ Malaysia explained that opening up the store in Malaysia will diversify the choices of Malaysians' beverage preferences.
As coffee is a huge part of Korean's lifestyle, thus Heuk Hwa Dang é»‘èŠ±å ‚ includes coffee as part of the menu at the very beginning, the drinking bar has coffee making section that allows the guests can also enjoy a cup of good coffee.
Going around the cafe, I am impressed by the vast choices of the drinks there. The menu is quite extensive but the barista told me to get myself one of the popular items there. The top 5 are Brown Sugar Bubble Tea, Rose Bubble Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Caffe Latte, Brown Sugar Bubble Soft Serve and Noughat Crackers.
So, I ended up choosing Rose Bubble Milk Tea and I was impressed by its decoration - there is real fresh rose petal in the drink guys!
Befitting that Heuk Hwa Dang é»‘èŠ±å ‚hails from Korea, the officiation ceremony started with Korean traditional performances with the brand representative from South Korea, Nam Eun-Hee, in attendance.
During the launch, a short drama entitled 'It's You' was showcased where it stars the Malaysia's beatbox singer and as a surprise to the crowd, Koujee appeared and sand the song 'It's You' that got the crowd screaming.
With that, now we have more choices of milk tea to choose from. Get yourselves here, all those boba lovers out there.
Psst. There is a second outlet in Taylor's Lakeside Campus and there are more to be opened - new outlets in Melaka Raya and Jonker Street in Malacca.
For more exciting share from the brand, get yourself connected with them via their social media platforms:
