My Very First (Butterfly) Coachella Ever - And I Still Haven't Moved On

My Very First (Butterfly) Coachella Ever - And I Still Haven't Move On | When Mamasan Tammy Lim first announced that The Butterfly Project Malaysia will be having it grandest gathering and the theme is Coachella, I have envisioned my outfit and my make up for the day. 
Be warned - this is a long post - I was still excited and I want to share my experience!

So, here's some drama before the event.
And in the middle of planning it all, some dramas happened and I have to take myself out from the invite list for the Butterfly Coachella Unity Celebration. My heart was broken.
Somehow, as if it was meant to be (or perhaps because I am forgetful and the old age is catching up), I bought a pair of boots to complement my Butterfly Coachella, only to realise later on that I have declined the invite. 
A week before the gathering, my schedule suddenly cleared up and I immediately contacted Mamasan, enquiring whether there was an opening still and thanks to the Butterfly Goddess that there was an opening - a Butterfly has to back down due to an emergency. So yes, I immediately gathered up my outfit and makeup plan once more, listing out items to buy to complete my look. 
So, yeah. Here's my look for the first-ever Butterfly Coachella Unity Gathering. So, how do you like me now?

Tagbooth Photobooth Social Media Platforms: Web | IG | FB I was greeted by the Butterfly crews (some were wearing neon bright outfits of which I envy - I want one too) as I entered the 3-storey building of Hearty Party. After registration, we were treated to red carpet treatment photo sesh by the Tag Booth Photobooth. 
Photo opportunity? No one is gonna let that go! Luckily the organiser did not put time or picture-take limit, so we took pictures as much as we could, while still minding that there were still more butterflies lining behind us,

Hearty Party Sdn Bhd Social Media Platforms: IG | FB Baby, if you ever need a place to plan your party of any kind, Hearty Party is the best place to have one. Every single wall of the building is beautifully decorated and very instagrammable! And it has three floors of pure enjoyment and activities of which you could decorate as per your party theme (upon negotiation and approval by the bosses, of course).
Just have a look at these pictures that I took at the lower ground level of Hearty Party! I feel like a supermodel!

Althea Korea Social Media Platforms: Web | IG | FB Heading up to the 1st level, one could either use the lift or just walk up the stairs. As I want to break the newly bought boots, I chose to walk up some flight of stairs. Opening up the door, I was immediately taken to beautiful interactive pop-up booths of Althea's current beauty craze products. I saw lots of K-Beauty products that I have grown to love and need (because they have been so nice to my skin!). There were A'Boom mask sets - all of them (Avo-Cuddle-Me, Water-Me-Long, Sparkle-Me-Bright and Ac-Me-Peach) in the hanging pop-up booths in the middle of the room. The ever cute A'Bloom Meringue sisters were on display on their own pop-up booths - as I mentioned to Ayue, I just want to eat them up!
Lo and behold! The latest addition the A'Bloom family, the Brow Wow Eyebrow Pencils were also on display. I hope that these pencils will assist me in defining my brows better after this. 

Voir Gallery  Social Media Platforms: Web | IG | FB Also on the same floor was a room of amazing beauty - a room full of bags from Voir Gallery. As a bagoholic, I felt like I have arrived in bag heaven looking at all the beautifully designed bags, tucked neatly on the wall (I was thankful that I did not bring my mum or my sisters too as they will be screaming at those bags). 
We were told to pose with some bags - a chance that I could never pass! I literally felt like a supermodel on a huge job - posing with those bags and my pictures will be on billboards and magazines (my imagination ran wild and that's just how my mind work). Well, what do you think, will my pictures ever make it?
And I learnt a new meaning of B.A.E by Voir - it means Before Anyone Else. B.A.E. will ensure that you'll be the first to have these goodies! Ain't that the best B.A.E?

Signature Market

Moving on, I inspected a wall of the most amazing snack display that I have ever seen. A wall of delicious and guilt-free snack by The Signature Market. I wished that I could at least tasted some of the snacks because its packaging has got me hungry. 
The Signature Market sells everything organic, natural and of course healthy. They have food, nuts, snacks and health and beauty products. The best thing is the store in online and opens 24/7. 
I got 3 packets of mixed nuts and I literally finished all packs within the first week. It was yummy and certainly fulfilling - the best healthy snacks that I've had so far! Ok - am gonna buy more!

Avantgarde Blooms

I know for a fact that Avantgarde Blooms and her owner, the ever radiant Ms Emi Goto will make her appearance in this event as she has always been very supportive towards The Butterfly Project for the past years. And I know for a fact that she will shower us with lots of fresh flowers, as she always has.
This time around, she brought along fresh roses of every colour straight from Kenya and what beautiful Rose scent the room was smelling! 

Curmudgeon's Brew Cold Brew Coffee

We were informed that one of our Butterfly buddies has become a coffee entrepreneur and of course, we were all eager to try her brew. Loving know as Curmudgeon's Brew Cold Brew Coffee, the beautiful Butterfly cum owner, Ms Arpita Ladida Bajaj serves cold brew - all done with love and everything nice.
As I haven't had my coffee fix for the day, I drank the whole bottle of cold-brewed vanilla coffee and man, did it hit the right spot - refreshing, cooling and a piece of heaven all brewed to perfection. And I was immediately feeling rejuvenated - ready to explore more of the Butterfly Coachella Unity Celebration.
I walked up another floor, before gulping down the delicious cookies that Ms Arpita has on the plate. Hehe.  Coffee + Cookie = Happiness

The feeling that I had as I entered the third floor was like a kid in a candy shop! I smell and see lots of food! And when I saw Lydia there, I immediately knew that I will be in for a treat as Lydia of Jom Party never disappoints with her food selection, decoration and taste. 
There were food choices for everyone - vegetarian and non-vegetarian alike and the best of all - the desserts! I tasted all and I was a happy Butterfly. 
What did I like the most? The chicken, the curry puff and all the desserts - I have 2 of each dessert. I am sorry guys if I ate too much. I am a certified self-acclaimed dessert-freak huhu.

Lérz' Tea & Coffee Fruit Tea

Just like the Coachella tradition (is it, or are you making this one up, Rawlins), there will be a drink that will get everyone going - and I am not talking about liquor. 
Lérz' Tea & Coffee Fruit Tea provided the party with the perfect beverage that is refreshing and cooling as everyone enjoying the festive ambience at the rooftop. And it is a healthy drink too.
Kudos to Tommy for being the barista of the day - shaking the drink on order (you've must have grown muscles that day, man from all the shaking). 

Sidh Haizad Yusoff, Singer

After a hearty meal (pun intended, Hearty Party), we all sat at on the floor and enjoyed the music by this talented busker that Mamasan Tammy found by mere luck. 
Sidh Haizad was singing his first song when there were a few started dancing to his songs (no need to mention names here). Obviously, they were really enjoying themselves.

Ok. Done.

NOPE! Mamasan and Hearty Party have another activity for all of us - PAINTING! I was actually scared to paint as I know my drawing and painting skill is next to none and almost non-existence. But Yana, a great friend that I come to know from The Butterfly Project too, assured me that I can do it. We were shown paintings of fruit and I chose to draw and colour an orange. And my drawing partner was Ayue - we were laughing throughout the process because we were both terrible at it. 
Amazing enough, our paintings turned out looking decent enough to be on display, in our bedrooms only. Hahaha. Thanks so much, Hearty Party for an exciting and very interactive party that you've hosted. 

How was my first-ever Coachella? 

It was super great - no wonder it is a big thing in the USA. Our version, albeit smaller in capacity, was so interactive and very exciting. I made new Butterfly friends and I get to learn their special skills - some are great in make up, some are great in painting and many more exciting and interesting skills. 

My life is much brighter with more colourful friends now!
