Experience X-pand Shopping @ Jalan Jalan Japan 1 Shamelin Mall | In Japan, looking great and on-trend is quite a huge business. And as the trend changes constantly, the Japanese need to change their fashion items as and when the trend changes. What do they do with their outdated fashion items? They will sell out the outdated items to make way for more on-trend fashion.

We, in Malaysia, get them for a much better bargain at Jalan-Jalan Japan (JJJ)! Yeay! 
So far, JJJ has 4 stores on our shore, and I hope they will expand to Sabah and Sarawak too as I know my homies there love Japanese fashion too! And all are flourishing - I think all Malaysians think alike (just like me): Fashion on a dime is still fashion nonetheless - pun the less part hahaha.

Up until recently, the store at 1 Shamelin Mall was closed for upgrading and has resumed its business on 16 November 2019 - the Grand X-pand Opening! Before, JJJ @ 1 Shamelin Mall covered a retail space of 17,000 sq. ft. on the 3rd floor. With the x-pand mission successful, JJJ @ 1 Shamelin Mall absorbed another 3,500 sq. ft. of the retail space, making JJJ @ 1 Shamelin Mall a larger and better shopping bliss for all-Japanese items!

Based on my past experience shopping at JJJ [Past Experience @ JJJ], I know that there will many rare and beautiful items up for grab. So, of course, I was among the first to be there. I thought I was the earliest but the line was already long when I arrived there.

Mr Daichi Shuzui san, the Marketing Manager of JJJ was there to greet us and impart some shopping and safety tips. 

• Choose your items
• Try them on. If not suitable, put them back in the basket provided at the fitting room
• Do not run, even though the store is bigger now. You don't want to be running into the glass cases and metal structures and injure yourself. Injuries and blood will certainly spoil the shopping excitement.
• Take selfies and load them into the JJJ FB Page - you will get a further discount (applicable on 16 - 17 November 2019 only)

Coincidently, I have a themed event in December and the theme is Japanese Kawaii Christmas. So, having the first dips on all beautiful Japanese items at JJJ will be a great privilege for me! And I will save a lot too!
So, I took Mr Daichi's san advise and strolled leisurely to look at all the display items with the theme as my focus. I took my time to choose the items and try each and every single item to ensure that they are in good condition and in my size.

After acquiring and renovating another 3,500 sq ft of space, JJJ 1 Shamelin Mall was just recently reopened for a larger and bigger shopping adventure. 😱 A few reminders before entering the store - make sure you are fit enough to go for rounds at the store for going around once will not be enough. In two hours' time, I managed to find some items that I might need for the event in December and I also bought a pot. 

How much was the damaged to my wallet? All 7 items caused RM106.

• A baby's top @ RM3
• A set of metal spoon and fork @ RM3
• A red beautifully embroidered kimono @ RM20
• A stainless steel pot @ RM30
• Two pants @ RM20
• A Japanese clog @ RM20

Thank you JJJ for making my shopping experience an elated one. If not for another appointment later that evening, I would have stayed longer and buy more items. The choices are vast and the price is crazy cheap.
