RM60,000 for the Champion of PMCC 2019 Organised by Yoodo | It certainly was a field day for all PUBG players as they cheered on the players from 16 top teams at IOI Mall yesterday (24 September 2019).
Yoodo kicked off the first-ever campus exclusive PUBG Mobile national tournament on 24th September 2019 and the tournament attracted almost 6,000 PUBG enthusiasts from all over the country. With battles after battles over 7 qualifiers events throughout the country, 16 top teams were through for the Grand Finals. The one of the kind tournament, PUBG MOBILE Campus Championship (PMCC) 2019 was organised by Yoodo, Malaysia's first fully customisable and 100% digital mobile service.

'The reception for PMCC 2019 has been fantastic,' said Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo. 'The mission when we launched PMCC was to encourage and empower young gamers. I would certainly say - MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. PMCC has been buzzing since the beginning with thousands participating and tuning in to catch the action. He went on to add that interest in local gaming and esports was at an all-time high and Yoodo was proud to be one of those leading the charge.

'PMCC 2019 has been a feast for the eyes. We have seen some truly incredible skills and kills from our top 16 teams today. I am glad that PMCC has been able to shed more light on the immense talent pool here in Malaysia. I look forward to more exciting achievements from these young gamers,' added Tuck Mun.

Of the 16 teams competed in the Grand Finals, the Dark Horse originating from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka excelled and managed to come up glorious and took the trophy of the PMCC 2019 home! The champion will be feasting on a 1-year mobile plan from and 1-year of Boost credits.

Not only that, the Dark Horse also received an exclusive direct invite to the Grand Final of PUBG MOBILE National Championship (PMNC) 2020!
Commenting on the tournament, Ms maggie Huang (Malaysia Country Manager, PUBG MOBILE said 'This first-ever PUBG MOBILE campus tournament in Malaysia was in recognition of the immense support we have received from students here. This support stayed true throughout the tournament with great participation from the players and fans alike.'
Imagine my surprise to see Elizabeth Tan at the Grand Finals. Wow, Lizzie! You go, girl! Lizzie was among the celebrities that were invited to a special celebrity show match, which was won by Firdaus 'Master Ramen' Hashim.
