'Hidangan Warisan by Hotel Tenera' Brings You The Best of Childhood Favorite Cuisines [2020 Ramadhan Buffet] | Last week, I was invited to attend a ramadhan buffet preview by Hotel Tenera. For 2020, Hotel Tenera,  a hotel that looms elegantly in the middle of Bandar Baru Bangi will be featuring a variety of our childhood favorite cuisines for the upcoming Ramadhan Buffet with its theme 'Hidangan Warisan' (Dishes of Heritage).

Happening from 25 April till 22 May 2020, Hotel Tenera promises to bring the favorite variety of beloved cuisines from all of our childhood memories. And there will be 50 food stalls featuring more than 200 Malay heritage cuisines await its patrons. Yes, man - you read it right - there will be more than 200 dishes waiting for you during t he Ramadhan Buffet.

Chef Sahisal Azrul, the Executive Chef of Hotel Tenera and his team has lined up the all-time favorite that will certainly bring one walking down the memory lane such as:

I was certainly spoilt for choices when I attended the preview. I learnt from my previous experience attending a buffet setting event - never go for rice or drink a lot of water if you want to try the whole lot of buffet. And you might want to go to the dessert section first if you don't want to line up with others at the main dishes buffet.

And that just what I did. I went straight to the dim sum sections and took the delicious traditional kuehs and crackers from their respective stalls.

I went to the dim sum stall again before making way to the main dishes stall - I took rendang ayam daun maman, the gravy of masak lemak batang keladi, ulam-ulam sambal gesek and many more.

The best highlight of the event was when Zaiton Sameon and Jamal Abdillah sang their hit songs for us that got the whole hall singing with them.

Oh. Throughout the period of Ramadhan Buffet, the patrons will be serenaded with the evergreen Malay and English songs - the singers were good!

My Review

Food Choices: 4.9/ 5.0 So many choices and it represents most of the states in Malaysia - where is Sarawak and Sabah's cuisines (sorry, I am a bit bias when it comes to state hahahaha - please bring in laksa sarawak)

Room Arrangement: 4.9/ 5.0 The tables are arranged nicely and not too close to each other making the patrons able to move around the room comfortably.

Value For Money: 4.8/ 5.0 If you are smart, get the Early Birds Promotion if you are thinking of bringing the whole family to the buffet. If you miss the promotion, the normal price is still reasonable, as the choices are aplenty. 

Hotel Tenera has quite a large number of parking spaces (FOC) on the UG level and it has surau and prayer hall so that you can enjoy the breaking fast at ease and in no rush to go to the nearest mosque for solat. 

Throughout the month of Ramadhan, Hotel Tenera offers great promotion for rooms that include sahur menu.
