Tok Lat Homestay - A Homey Homestay Near Cenang Beach, Langkawi | I went on a vacation in Langkawi with the #BobaHunterGang at the end of last February, before the disastrous series of Covid-19 and MCO happened. 

Everything was beautifully planned by each member of the #BobaGengHunter - the itinerary, the ETS train ride to Kuala Perlis, the ferry ride to Langkawi, the rental car and the homestay throughout the entire stay at Langkawi.
That was my very first time riding the ETS and I AM SO IN LOVE IN IT! I will be using the service again after this, traveling to Penang or anywhere up north, or down south. Once arrived at the jetty, we took the rental car (thanks Cik Lily Putih for arranging the traveling parts) and went straight away to the homestay - Tok Lat Homestay in Kampung Temonyong, less than 10 minutes away from the Cenang Beach. 
When we arrived at the homestay, we were awed by the homestay as it was newly built and we were among the first to stay there! The owner was there to welcome us and show us around the house. We stayed at the very first homestay (there are three others adjacent to it and we were the only ones there as it was not a vacation season). 

The homey homestay has a large living round with a TV and set of comfortable chairs. It has 3 rooms and each with its own split unit of AC. The first two rooms has its own bathroom attached whereas the last one don't. But there is a bathroom outside, a common bathroom for all. So, it looks like that every room has its own bathroom (so we don't have to fight each other in the morning just to use the toilet hahaha).
There's also a dining table for six just beside the kitchen counter. The kitchen seems to have it all - stove, pots and other utensils to cook. Me being me, whenever I arrived at a hotel, I will always first boil some water, just to prepare some drinking water for all. 
And the best thing is, there is also a washing machine, ready to be used by the guests of the homestay. That means I don't have to worry about having not enough clothes to wear while in Langkawi. 
Throughout our stay there, I slept like a baby as the rooms were comfortable and as the homestay is not beside the main road, the surrounding was ever peaceful and serene.

Did we cook?  NO! Haha. Our itinerary were full, thanks so much to Zharif for devising the best itinerary.  We were surrounded by so many eateries that food was not an issue at all. There are also 24 hours grocery stores nearby where we get all necessities - 3-in1 drinks, breads and many more. 
Why did we chose the homestay? Of course for its fast service from the provider, EzeeGo Tour that assisted us with the booking, planning the best tours (must-eat places, island hopping, Dayang Bunting Island, Kilim boat trip and etc) and of course, for its very competitive price. 
And the best thing is, EzeeGo Tour arranged for a boat exclusively just for us for the island trips. We didn't have to share the boat with other tourists and this works the best for us as we tend to overstayed at a destination (making videos and all hahaha).

The price for the homestay was RM300 per night (RM350 during weekends and holidays), which is much cheaper than RM150++ per room for two per night (you do the maths).
