247°F [Movie Review] | Anybody here loves sauna? Me - I'm kinda in the middle. Perhaps there's a little claustrophobic inside me kicks in when I'm alone in a dark confined space. 

If there are other people inside, I'm OK to stay in for a short while. Why did I watch the movie? Just to kill time hehehe (MCO 2.0 maaa).

Three years ago, Jenna and her boyfriend met with a car accident and her boyfriend died. 

Still coping with the loss, Jenna tries to pick up her life. Her best friend, Renee invites her to spend a weekend in a lakeside cabin with her boyfriend, Michael and his friend, Ian. 

After a short boat ride, they arrived at the cabin and Ian's uncle was there to greet them. Wade leaves them to settle in after reminding them to bring their invitation to a party later that night. 

After settling in, the group decides to try the in-house sauna. After a while, the group decides to jump into the lake to cool off. Then, they jumps inside the sauna again. Michael, who is high from the marijuana Wade has given him, wants to have s*x with Renee, which she rejects. Michael gets angry and storms out of the sauna. 

As the sauna gets hotter, the trio decides to call it a day. But they can't as the door is blocked from the outside. And they thought that Michael is pranking them. 

They tried everything - including Ian breaking down the small glass window on the door that leaves his hand injured and bleeding. 

To make things worse, Wade fires the firework that leaves their screams unheard by anyone, except Wade's dog, Beau. Beau was barking non-stop but Wade gives it no mind as he thought that Beau is afraid of the fireworks. 

Will the trio survive the heat?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 3.7/ 5.0 I kinda like the plot - you thought you knew but then you don't about the cause of the trio being blocked. It gets me to be interested to know what and how. 

Cast: 3.0/ 5.0 How should I put it? The script was not that great and neither is the delivery. But the plot that keeps it interesting. 

Will I watch it again: No, thanks.
