Vivo [Movie Review]

Vivo [Movie Review] | No. It ain't that mobile phone brand. It is an animation movie. I saw one of my IG friends reviewed the movie and as I am into anything animation, I clicked of the movie and watched it over the weekend.

My weekend became brighter and sunnier after that.

Andres and his pet kinkajou, Vivo, are the entertainers in the plaza in Havana, Cuba. And both are contented with the way their lives play out, so far. 

When a letter from Marta Sandoval, Andres' old singing partner and his crush then, arrives and invites Andres to perform together with her during her final concert in Miami, Vivo is against the disruption to their daily routine. But when he learns that Andres is secretly in love with Marta and that he has written a song about his secret feelings towards Marta, Vivo vows to assist Andres and helps his friend to pack.

Andres passed away in his sleep that night. During the funeral service at the plaza that night, Andres' nice, Rosa and her daughter, Gabi attend the service and Gabi meets with Vivo for the first time there. 

Determined to deliver Andres' song to Marta, Vivo stows away in Gabi's luggage. When they arrives at Rosa's place, Vivo tries his best to run from Gabi and finds his way to Marta. 

Later, reluctantly, Vivo has to depend on Gabi to find their ways to deliver the song to Marta. 

Their journey was hard and full of obstacles, but with the assistance of some new friends along the way, the duo manages to arrive in Miami, just in time to deliver the song to Marta. 

Will Marta understand the story in the song? What will happen to Vivo and Gabi when the journey ends?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.3/ 5.0 A fun movie to watch with your family members. A very straight-forward movie with lots of family values and cry-cry scenes in it.

I cried.

Cast: 4.7/ 5.0 I love everyone's performance here.

Will I watch it again: I would, especially when I need a good pick-me up movie to brighten my day.
