Come Join Us for the Weekend Buffet at the Kofuku Japanese Restaurant, Seri Pacific Hotel | Everyone is welcomed to feast at the Kofuku Japanese Restaurant of Seri Pacific Hotel. By everyone, I am referring to those who has completed the two dosage of the vaccines and completed the 14 days period.
So what awaits at the Weekend Buffet, Kofuku Japanese Restaurant?
The most important thing is, the SOPs are strictly adhered to in the restaurant. You have to check in using My Sejahtera, only two people per table and you will be given gloves to take the food.
Chef Hosaini, the Malaysian Chef behind the whole Japanese weekend buffet idea, walked us through the extravaganza selection of delectable and pristine Japanese delicacies, featuring an array of fresh sushi, udon noodles, tempura, teppanyaki live cooking, just to name a few.
My choice? I took some Japanese style fried rice, Takoyaki, Salted Butter Prawn and a must - a hot steaming Miso Soup!
What about sushi? There were beautifully fresh choices and my friends were super happy to see and able to eat the sushi, aplenty.
Due to some medical condition, I cannot eat raw food so I headed straight to the live teppanyaki cooking booth and picked some meats and seafood before giving them to the ever-capable chefs there to cook them for me. To order your teppanyaki, you must pick your own meats and seafood before giving them to the chef, along with your name and table number on a piece of paper. Once cooked to your liking (half done, well done etc), the chef will send the dishes over to your table.
Another live cooking booth that captured my interest was the tempura booth. I think I must have frequented the booth more than 3 times to replenish the tempura - it was so tasty and crunchy!
And last but not list, my most favorite and must have whenever I eat at hotels - the desserts! I am such a sweet-tooth and I was having the time of my life over the dessert counter.
When and How Much?
Starting October 2021, the buffet is available only on Fridays and Saturdays from 6.30 pm until 10.00 pm and is priced at RM120 nett per person. For children aged 5 - 12 years and senior citizens above 60 years old, they will enjoy a special price of RM60 nett per person. There will also be special discount price of 20% off for in house guests and loyalty card members.
