Dadi Cinemas Open Its Doors to Malaysians, and I am Excited! | As  an avid movie-goer, I was devastated when the cinema in Pavilion KL closed down. Pavilion was the go-to place for my friends and I to meet, at least once a month where we dine, chat and watch movie/s together.

Then the global pandemic happened. My devastation over the loss of the cinema was replaced by the same feeling that everyone else around the world was feeling - secluded and confined to our own homes. And for while, online movies became our 'cinemas'. 

I just couldn't wait for the world to be just like it was before, and experience the joy of watching movies with friends in a cinema again, among other normalcies that I want.

Then. the great news comes in the form of Dadi Cinema, a cinema chain that will be opening cinemas in Malaysia. In fact, starting 1 November 2021, Dadi Cinema (pronounced as DAA-DEE), the cinema chain is opening its doors to the public, at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Da Men USJ. Oh yeah!

Look Out for the New Concepts

Both locations will feature unique interior concepts, being the one in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur will be the first in Malaysia to introduce a "watching movies under the stars concept" and the one in USJ will portray a "Street Scheme" open concept with architectural images, signages and street signs.

Dadi Cinema Pavilion Kuala Lumpur boasts the first-ever concept with its Star-Max Hall is surrounded by a starry, galactic theme with advanced laser projector technology is in play to deliver crystal-clear cinema graphics accompanied with the Dolby Atmos sound system. All these to ensure the movie experience is unforgettable surround experience. 

Star Treatments for all ages

Befitting the premium location that is the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Dadi Cinema Pavilion Kuala Lumpur also offer a VIP experience with the premium Star+ Hall where one will indulge in a pampered treatment of premium twin leatherette recliner cabin seats (so great for a movie date) - complete with wireless charging pad, service button and a private lounge with free flow selected concessions to enjoy before the movie start. 

For the precious little ones, they will also have a grand time as the Lil Start Hall has adorable, customised kids seating and the Lil Star Playland will the the wonderland for them to enjoy. The hall is available both in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Da Men USJ. 

Add on a Cinema Shopping Experience

There will also be a merchandise section at the cinema where movie-goers could enjoy some discounts and special offers when buying merchandises by signing up and using the Dadi Cinema membership card, U+.

From November onwards, the movie tickets can be purchased via online, Dadi Cinema App (Huawei App Gallery & Apple Store), as well as walk-in to the concession counters at the cinema.
