Midnight [Movie Review] | The second K-movie that I watched is this one. One similarity of the K-movies that I will be reviewing this week is that the whole movie spins in a day (night time/ day time) only.

The movie starts with girl being killed by a good-looking guy inside a van. The killer even calls for a police assistance to ensure that the bodies are found later on, and he walks off from the crime scene, untouched by any of the force.

Kyeong-mi, a hearing impaired girl, works a customer consultant in a customer service centre, decides to join her office dinner. Later, she picks up her mother, who is also hearing impaired. She drops off her mum so that she could find a parking slot for her car, without knowing that the killer is nearby and watches her mother with a deadly interest.

Jong-tak, a former marine who is very protective of his sister, So-jung, advises his sister not to stay too late and return home immediately after work. 

The killer, Do-sik, approaches the mother with a knife hidden behind his back. Just at that exact moment, So-jung crosses path with Kyeong-mi's mother, making Do-sik changes his attention to So-jung instead.

He attacks So-jung.

As Kyeong-mi returns to walk with her mother to their house, she stumbles upon So-jung, who is bleeding on the road side. Just as she about to call for help, Do-sik returns.

Kyeong-mi runs for her life and from then on, starts a silent chase between Do-sik and Kyeong-mi and her mother. 

As Do-sik was wearing mask during the chase, Kyeong-mi couldn't clearly identify him to the police when the duo reported the case in the police station with a 'brother' who manages to describe his sister as So-jung.

Can two hearing-impaired women out-best a serial killer?

MY REVIEW

Plot: 4.9/ 5.0 A crazy scary crime is about to happen, and the victims are deaf and mute. How will they survive the ordeal?

I was really scared for the victims throughout the movie. And it made me think about our friends who cannot voice their thoughts and worries - what are we doing for them?

Cast: 4.9/ 5.0 GREAT JOB! That's all I can say about the cast!
