• Filming shut down for lack of funding. However, Mel Gibson has already signed on for Dangerous 2.
  
• The film moved forward because of funding from the Creative Saskatchewan Feature Film Production Grant Program, as well as the Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit, the film's production was able to move forward with the participation of the Province of British Columbia Film Incentive.

The movie starts by showing Dylan's (or D) daily routine, while he observes his parole quarantine. He has to take his pills on time to keep himself in check. His brother, Sean, sends him letter and tells him about his life, including of him buying an island and building an B&B on the island, while wishing that D joins him.

One day, he receives a letter from Sean's wife telling him that Sean is dead and the family is hosting a wake at the B&B. He later realises that his door is already opened and someone is inside his apartment. 

The SWAT team, who responded to the disturbance call (and probably because D's anklet gives out signal that he's violating his parole), breaks into D's apartment and finds the guy that breaks in into the apartment half-dead. 

FBI Agent, Agent Shaughessy, determines to catch D and meets with D's psychiatrist, Dr. Alderwood. 

Later, FBI learns about the wake and Agent Shaughessy makes her way to the island. 

Meanwhile, D's arrival at the B&B is not welcomed by his mother. D notices something odd about Sean's death but decides to not further upset the family.

The sheriff gets hold about D's breaking parole and detains him in a cell inside a bunker. Later, the sheriff is shot by a group of men arriving at the pier, who he mistaken as FBI agents. 

Apparently, the group of men did not mean well and starts to disturb the wake by firing at the B&B. 

Later, the group inside the house realises that the bad men is not after D, but instead, after what Sean is hiding.

What is Sean hiding and can D saves his family, despite his health condition? 

MY REVIEW

Plot: 2.9/ 5.0 There is a plot, alright. But there were so many potholes that I had to think/ assume some of the plots to understand the movie.

Or was my level of understanding way too low to understand the movie?

It could be way greater with better script and direction.

Cast: 4.0/ 5.0 These are some great names in here. But somehow, the script managed to downplayed each and everyone of them. 

A waste of good talents there, and perhaps good money too.
