A group text showing discussion of apparently rich people, talking about them looking forward to a relaxing event, which is an 'upcoming hunt of deplorables'. Then the scene moves to a group of elite people on board of a private jet. Suddenly a deranged male appears and starts asking questions. One of the passengers manage to subdue him before stab him in the neck. Being him a huge guy, the stab did nothing and he manages to smash a champagne bottle and threaten to hurt the passengers.
One of the passenger, a lady appears from behind the plane and stabs him in the eye with a high heel, ends up killing him. They drags the body to the back of the plane and lays him down next to another unconscious woman.
The unconscious woman wakes up in a forest, gagged. She and another survivor make their way to a land clearing where they find a box with weapons and a key to open their gags. There are actually 10 of them in gags. Once they retrieve the weapons, fires are shot and the woman is killed, among others.
Three survivors manage to escape over a barbed wire fence and run directly to a store. The elderly owners tell them that they are in Arkansas. One of the survivors dies after eating a food in the store and apparently, the owners are also a part of the group that were killing people in the field. All three are killed inside the store.
Not long after, another survivor, Crystal, comes along and asks to buy cigarettes, before she attacks and kills both the owners. She skillfully inspects the area and realises that the store is a staged area with booby traps everywhere.
Skillfully evading the traps, soon she meets another survivor, Gary, a podcaster who has been exposing the group that hunts people for fun. Together, the duo runs to safety and board a train. When the train stops by Croation soldiers, Gary is convinced that these soldiers and refugees in the car are actors, a part of the game too. Gary manages to kill one of the player, who is among the refugee before runs and leaves Crystal with the soldier who later brings her to a refugee camp.
There she meets Don, another survivor. When Don, an envy from the US Embassy comes and takes them to the embassy, Crystal senses something amiss and kills Don. In the trunk, they finds money and Gary's body.
At a shelter, the elites are talking about their trip and the fun they have been having, determining which survivor will survive 'the hunt''. Crystal and Don comes in and kills the elites.
Athena, the voice in the radio, asks who is alive and Don answers. Then, Athena informs that Don is also a part of the elites and Crystal kills him too.
Now going to Athena's place, Crystal is determined to be free again.
Will Crystal be free again?
MY REVIEW
Plot: 4.4/ 5.0 Just like the Games of Hunger, it is about the survivor of the players. And these elites hunts humans. Be prepared to be gross out with some gory scenes.
Cast: 4.0/ 5.0 There were some big names in here but apparently, they were making cameos only. If the main actor is given to another big name, the movie could be bigger as Crystal gives limited expression, at least that's how I see her.
Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I think I would.
The pictures are taken from multiple sources on the Internet. Thank you.
