Ever since the death of his parents in a robbery-murder, Respati finds himself unable to sleep at night as he blames himself for not joining them in their fateful trip. His grandfather thinks he is merely suffering from ordinary insomnia due to grief after the death of his parents. And that is also the cause of him acting up at home and in school. 

When he finally sleeps, he has strange dreams where he sees many strangers meeting tragic fates. Later, Respati realizes that he isn't having nightmares but is entering the dreams of others, whose lives are being threatened by a mysterious figure named Sukma. Upon waking, Respati discovers that these people have been found dead under mysterious and tragic circumstances while asleep.

Respati's friend, Wulan, is a recent transfer to his school and reveals that she can interact with spirits. She reveals that Respati possesses a special ability to explore the Dream Realm. Together with his friend, Tirta, Respati wants to explore the Dream Realm with Wulan's guidance.

In his dreams, he often encounters an old lady, who later he identifies as Mbah Mustika and knows the way to defeat Sukma. Despite the dangers, Respati endeavors to uncover the mystery within the Dream Realm that is causing people to die in the real world. And it all starts from their roots.

Who is Sukma and why is Sukma keeps on appearing in his dreams and kill people?

MY REVIEW

What I Like: 

• The character development helps to understand the movie direction. 

• Beautiful cinematography and camera works. 
• Clean and straight plot. I guessed the culprit before the movie meets its half timeline. 

What I Don't Like:

• As you can see from the last picture, the monster is kinda ridiculous. They could have done better with the mask and the make up. 
• Mustika told Respati that he must believe in himself and he can be anything in the realm to kill Sukma. But did he listened? Of course no!

Will I Watch It Again: No, as I think the movie is not that memorable
