Simply The Best: Rebecca O'Connor Celebrates Tina Turner | Rebecca O’Connor, the Irish performer celebrated for her uncanny portrayal of Tina Turner, is set to electrify Kuala Lumpur with her "Simply The Best: Celebrating Tina" concert series. 

From July 11 to 13, 2024, at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, O’Connor will pay homage to the Queen of Rock ‘N Roll with a high-energy show that promises to captivate audiences. Endorsed by Turner herself, O’Connor has spent 15 years perfecting her tribute act down to a T, complete with the big hair, glittering outfits and powerful vocals delivering pitch-perfect renditions of Turner's hits, including "What's Love Got To Do With It" and "Simply The Best."

In fact, O’Connor is the only artiste to have been personally endorsed by the legend herself - who declared “Rebecca is so good, it’s scary!” 

Born in Cobh, Cork, with Jamaican roots, O’Connor's musical journey began with her adopted father's influence. He introduced her to Tina Turner's music, igniting a passion that led her to become an accomplished Irish dancer and later a singer. Raised in a music-loving household with three adopted siblings, O’Connor’s passion for music was nurtured from an early age, sealing her path to stardom with the blessing and unwavering support of her family. 

“When I first heard Tina, it was like a volcano went off inside me. I knew then this amazing woman would influence me forever,” O’Connor divulges. 

She won "Stars in Their Eyes" and performed on "The Voice Australia," showcasing her talent to millions. Managed by Fleetwood Mac's ex-manager, O’Connor has built a global fanbase with her dynamic voice and stage presence, earning her a reputation as one of the few female artistes who can truly embody Tina Turner's legendary stage aura and earned her fans across Europe, the UK, Australia, Barbados, the UAE and South Africa.
