Charles invites his children over to celebrate his 75th birthday. His exact invitation was for immediate family only but Drew, who is married to Hannah decides to bring his wife along as they have a surprise for the birthday.

Drew's siblings, the successful twins - Madeline and Charles Jr and Kami, the self-made internet sensation have also arrived. The twins didn't hide their disapproval of Hannah being there but Kami loves Drew and Hannah.

The children meets Charles, who tells them that they have to protect him through the night or none of them will inherit his wealth should anything happen to his life when morning comes. He believes that someone or something will kill him  before he turns 75.

The family is locked inside their mansion, everyone is waiting eagerly for the night to past.

When Kami is found dead in the pool, the family becomes even more anxious. The twins think that Drew and Hannah is behind the killing and decide to act on it by locking them up in the family vault.

But when Madeline is killed, Charles Jr. now knows that the threat is real and not from the married couple.

He releases the married couple to guard their father, who is safely locked in the study while he hunts the killer.

Who or what is the killer? And why?

MY REVIEW

What I Like:

  • The movie is delivered straight to the point.
  • It reminds me of The Invitation and Ready or Not.

What I Don't Like:

    • Why has it got to be too dark? Like all the horror movies have to be too dark.

Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I would but not my immediate go-to.

    Overall: 4.3/ 5.0

The pictures are taken from multiple sources on the Internet. Thank you.
