- The second time J.K. Simmons played Santa Claus.
- The film was supposed to come out soon after wrapping in February 2023, but it's been pushed back almost two years. The delay? Dwayne Johnson’s unpredictable on-set behavior, causing frequent 8-hour holdups. These disruptions led to costly reshoots, adding about $50 million to the budget and making post-production a nightmare.
Jack is a boy that doesn't believe in Christmas as he knows that Santa Claus is not real. And he is great at finding and uncovering secrets, especially where the grown-ups hid their Christmas presents and told them the next morning that those came from Santa himself. He grows up being one of the best hacker online, known as the Wolf.
Callum is the head of Santa’s security, was ready to call it a day after one final Christmas run. Hundreds of years of protecting the North Pole and the Big Red himself had left him worn out, especially when he saw that the Naughty List was growing longer with every holiday season.
Unknown to him, Jack shared the secret location of the North Pole complex to a faceless buyer when he illegally captured an anomaly. Based on this sensitive information, an elite team broke into Santa’s hidden North Pole complex and kidnapped the big man himself, a day right before Christmas.
Shocked, Callum alerted Director Zoe of the Mythological Oversight and Restoration Authority (MORA). And not soon after, Zoe discovered that Jack was the leak. Zoe cut him a deal—double his fee to help save Christmas.
Callum, skeptical but desperate, teamed up with Jack. Their search led them to a shady broker who revealed the kidnapper: Gryla, the winter witch. The moment they learned her name, Gryla’s snowmen attacked, but Callum and Jack fought them off. Callum had a hunch: Gryla might be in league with Krampus, Santa's bitter brother and her former lover. The two broke into Krampus’s lair, only to be captured. Callum pleaded for Santa’s life, but Krampus, still hardened by past grudges, dismissed him. Just when all seemed lost, Jack got clever and they made a daring escape.
Meanwhile, Gryla was siphoning Santa’s magic to power a terrible plan: imprisoning naughty children forever inside enchanted snow globes. Somehow, she managed to captured Jack and his estranged son, Dylan in her snow globes. Trapped inside their own snow globes, Jack and Dylan had a heartfelt conversation, mending old wounds. Their renewed bond shattered the magic, setting them free. Using a tracker Zoe had planted on Jack, Callum and Zoe stormed the North Pole, freeing Mrs. Claus and the captive security team.
With Santa still being captive and time is running out, how will they save Christmas?
