  • Interestingly, the main cast, including Tom Hardy, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans and Stephen Graham, are all British actors portraying American characters in this film.

Eddie and Venom, find themselves deep in trouble once again. They are hiding out in a Mexican bar, drowning their woes in tequila. However, Eddie make the headline as Patrick Mulligan is dead and Eddie is the prime suspect. So, Eddie is now a fugitive. With nowhere else to turn, Eddie sets his sights on New York, desperate to prove his innocence.

Meanwhile, Lord Knull, the creator of the symbiotes, wants out of his prison. And to get out of the prison, he needs a powerful Codex, which only Eddie and Venom possesses, whenever they morphed. Lord Knull sends out Xenophage, killer creatures, to hunt them.

Meanwhile, Rex Strickland, leads a covert government to capture and study symbiotes that have fallen from the sky. Partick, who everyone believed has died, is actually barely clinging to life and now bonded to a new symbiote and interrogated by Dr. Teddy Payne and Sadie Christmas.The symbiote warns them that Xenophage is coming and will kill anything that stands on its way.

Eddie and Venom they hitch a ride on a plane headed for New York. As Eddie needs to morph with Venom to hold onto the plane, the Xenophage manages to track them and strikes, forcing the duo a dramatic drop into a scorching desert as the hunter get pulled into the plane's propeller and seemingly died. As they scramble for safety, Venom spills a chilling truth: the Xenophages were sent by Knull to recover a powerful Codex. This Codex could set Knull free, endangering the entire universe.

Just as hope seems lost, Eddie encounters Martin and his family of alien enthusiasts, who give him a lift to Las Vegas. At a bustling Vegas casino, old friend Mrs. Chen appears in a lighthearted twist—until the Xenophage attacks once more. Strickland’s team intervenes, tearing Venom from Eddie and dragging them to Area 51. The base becomes a battleground as the Xenophage tracks down Eddie to Area 51. 

Within the high-security walls of Area 51, alliances and rivalries collide, and the fight for survival escalates. As Knull's influence spreads, portals open, and chaos ensues.

MY REVIEW

What I Like:  

  • A good mixture of drama, sci-fi, action and comedy too.  
  • Yeay! More symbiotes morph with many others. I LOVE!
  • There are two post-credit scenes.

What I Don't Like:

  • None, I would say.

Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I would.  

Overall: 4.5/ 5.0
