Lembayung [Movie Review] | When I first learned that Anna Jobling would be starring in this Indonesian horror piece, I was intrigued, and kinda vested Anna's ability to star in a horror movie. 

And the fact that the movie is based on a true story makes me want to watch it even more.

Pica and Arum are two nursing students embarking on their internship at Lembayung Clinic. Lembayung Clinic has recently re-opened to the public after being closed for several years. Rumor has it that a doctor committed suicide there several years ago. 

Arum is pregnant and trying to abort her pregnancy by swallowing drugs she acquired from a pharmacy. She managed to terminate her pregnancy.

One night, a mysterious patient with long hair visits the dental clinic and frightens Arum. Now, the long-haired woman continues to haunt both of them, even appearing in Arum's dreams. Strange events keep occurring, and several hospital staff members tragically die one by one. 

Arum thinks that she might be the cause of death as she was harassed by the staff before their death. The fact that Pica was once her boyfriend's ex adds up to her anger and anxiety. 

When Arum begins to show signs of possession, Pica quickly tries to uncover the mystery of Lembayung Clinic before her best friend becomes the next victim.

Why is the lady haunting Arum? What is the mystery of Lembayung Clinic?

MY REVIEW

What I Like:  

• A great cast. 
• Anna was GREAT!

What I Don't Like:

• Anna says very little in the movie, but she makes up for it in her acting.

Will I Watch It Again: Yes, I would.
