The story takes place at the bustling Exhibition in Mumbai. Amid the sparkle of Divine Diamonds & Jewellery’s stall, Kamini Singh and Mangesh Desai manage their workday while computer technician Sikandar Sharma (Avinash Tiwary) sets up audio-visual displays. It’s just another ordinary day—until it isn’t.
An anonymous tip warns of an impending robbery by four armed assailants. Santosh Kamble, a vigilant cop at the exhibition, springs into action, leading the force to neutralize the robbers. As the chaos subsides, attendees are directed to a refuge area, seemingly safe from harm. But when Kamini and Mangesh return to their stall, they uncover a shocking truth: red solitaires worth a staggering Rs. 50-60 crores have vanished.
With the CCTV system disabled during the heist, the investigation hinges on instincts rather than evidence. Jaswinder Singh, a sharp and unrelenting investigator renowned for his gut-driven approach was tasked with the investigation. And he is always right with his instincts. His instincts lead him to three suspects: Sikandar, Kamini, and Mangesh. Despite an exhaustive search, the missing solitaires remain elusive. With no concrete proof but plenty of suspicion, Jaswinder arrests the trio, seeking a seven-day remand to crack the case. Months after, the trio was acquitted to lack of evidence - but their lives were ruined from the first day they met Jaswinder, as he is one persuasive and hellbent to finding the culprit.
The present reveals a very different Jaswinder—no longer the celebrated officer he once was, yet still haunted by unfinished business. He drinks during the day too. Now that he is fired from the force and his wife divorces him, he spends his focus on the unsolved crime.
Sikandar, now thriving in Abu Dhabi, returns to India, setting the stage for a final confrontation. With the past looming large and old scores waiting to be settled, the meeting between these two men promises to unravel truths hidden for over a decade.
