Astro Shaw and Mirinda Make Raya Extra Special for Orphans | In the spirit of Ramadan, Astro Shaw and Mirinda hosted a heartwarming Iftar with 40 orphans from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur in Rawang, Selangor. The event, attended by Astro Shaw’s Norsalvina Alwee and Etika’s Amy Gan, featured a special duit raya giveaway and gift hampers, making the evening even more memorable.

Adding to the celebration, stars from upcoming Astro Shaw productions—including Nas Muammar Zar, Anwaar Beg Moghal, and Shweta Sekhon (Keluang Man), Andy Teh, Idan Aedan, and Umar Shakur (Abah Saya Uncle Mike), Azira Shafinaz and Syarul Ezani (One Cent Thief 2), and Malek Mccrone (First Wives)—joined in. The night became even more special with the presence of Michael Tong Wai Siong (Uncle Mike), the real-life inspiration behind Abah Saya Uncle Mike, alongside his three adopted sons.

As part of the event, Mirinda also premiered its exclusive Raya trailer, Balik Rayaaahhh, for the upcoming film Abah Saya Uncle Mike. The film follows Uncle Mike as he reunites with his three adopted sons for a traditional festive celebration in their hometown. The official Raya trailer, featuring the movie’s lead cast, is now available on social media platforms.
