- This is Sylvester Stallone's second film starring Jason Statham, following Homefront (2013).
- A Working Man is based on Chuck Dixon's novel Levon's Trade, part of the 12-book Levon Cade series. Sylvester Stallone initially planned to adapt it as a TV series.

Levon Cade, a former Royal Marine Commando turned construction foreman, shares a close bond with the Garcia family, who own the company he works for. The Garcia accepts him with open arms, whereas his own bitter father in law, hates him and blames him for his daughter's death, which was apparent suicide. Levon and his father in law are in discussion about his daughter, Merry's custody.
When Jenny Garcia, is abducted by Russian traffickers, Levon doesn’t hesitate as he’s going to get her back, just like he promised her before.

The traffickers work for the Bratva, led by Symon Kharchenko. After Levon takes out Symon’s brother, Wolo, the crime boss sends his sons, Danya and Vanko, to eliminate him. But Levon is always one step ahead. He infiltrates their network, posing as a dealer to get close to Dimi, the man running the trafficking ring.
Meanwhile, Jenny refuses to go down without a fight. She mauls a client’s face, earning a death sentence—until he changes his mind, wanting another attempt at breaking her. Before that can happen, Levon is captured by Danya and Vanko, but he turns the tables, killing them both. Now, it’s personal for Symon.
Realizing his enemies know who he is, Levon sends his daughter, Merry, to safety with his old comrade, Gunny. Then he tracks down Dimi, forcing him to reveal Jenny’s location before killing him. What follows is a bloodbath. Levon mows through the criminal scum guarding the compound, including a violent biker gang.
Can he finds Jenny in time?

MY REVIEW
What I Like:
- Yes, Statham never disappoints.
- Love the action scenes in the movie.
What I Don't Like:
- I think the script needs refinement - seems like a one-liner and often hanging.
- It is just like any other Statham movies - no new recipe.
Will I Watch It Again: I don't mind watching it again.
Overall: 4.3/ 5.0
