- Entertainment Weekly reported that this film was initially conceived in 2012 as The Seven, a martial arts retelling where monks replaced the dwarfs, training a young woman to battle evil. It was shelved after the release of Mirror Mirror and Snow White and the Huntsman that same year.
- All the Dwarfs are CGI characters in this live action film.

On a snowy night, a kind king and queen welcome their daughter, naming her Snow White in honor of the day. Years later, the queen falls ill and passes away. The grieving king hastily remarries before marching into battle against a looming threat. When he never returns, his new queen seizes the throne, revealing herself as a cruel enchantress obsessed with her own beauty.
Under the Evil Queen’s rule, the kingdom falls into ruin. People starve and men are forced into the royal guard. Snow White, now a scullery maid, is trapped in the palace. Every day, the Queen asks her Magic Mirror, “Who is the fairest of them all?" and for years, it always answers her.
One day, Snow White catches Jonathan, a roguish thief, raiding the pantry. Instead of turning him in, she frees him and gives him food. That same day, the Mirror declares Snow White the fairest. Furious, the Queen orders the Royal Huntsman to take her into the woods, kill her and return with her heart. But the Huntsman lets her go, warning her to run.

Lost in the forest, Snow White finds refuge in a small cottage belonging to seven dwarfs, namely Doc, Grumpy, Bashful, Sleepy, Sneezy, Happy, and Dopey, who work in a diamond mine. They take her in, but the Queen soon learns she’s alive and sends her guards after her.
Jonathan and his thieves protect Snow White and together, they fend off the Queen’s men. Before parting ways, Snow White confesses her father may still be alive. Determined to find him, Jonathan sets out but is captured. Meanwhile, the Queen transforms into an old peddler woman and tricks Snow White into eating a poisoned apple, leaving her in a deathlike sleep.
Who will save Snow White now, as Jonathan is in prison?

MY REVIEW
What I Like:
- Well, we all love Snow White tales, no matter which version it is.
- Some scenes are just like direct copy from the animation - love that.
- Evil Queen's wardrobe is amazing!
What I Don't Like:
- Dwell too long about Snow White's relationship with Jonathan.
- The end part felt rushed.
- I think they might be able to release two albums from this one movie. Singing all the way. I know that it is a musical but I love Wicked.
- I tend to compare Gal Gadot to Charlize Theron. Charlize's version is much more siniter and evil.
Will I Watch It Again: I prefer Charlize's version of Snow White.
Overall: 2.5/ 5.0
